Ellen's New Book Has Arrived!
Thieves in the Kingdom reveals much about our lives and our world, about what is wrong and why, and about what is to come. Much is coming and we dare not to be ignorant of it. We cannot be so caught up in our daily lives that we do not prepare for the future.
This is especially true living in the fast-paced generation and society we live in today. Even with world news constantly informing us and information at every fingertip, we still need to focus on the priorities of our lives.
We need to see this world as it really is, and to see ourselves as we really are, as well as our place in the midst of it all. I know that can seem very challenging, but we must persevere anyway. We must not ignore the most precious part of our lives as most people are prone to do. The riches, the rewards, and the outcome we are supposed to get out of life are just too great, too important, and way too much for us to miss out on.
Fiction, fantasy, and imagination are sometimes very good and can make for great books and movies. But when the real deal is bolder, broader, and more revealing than any story someone can come up with, we ought to check it out and be willing to see it for what it is.
Craig and Ellen were both saved in the spring and early summer of 1980, and spent the next weeks and many months in serious study of God's word, Christian living, and constant fellowship with God's people. The Lord then called them to full time ministry in the fall of that year and they have been ministering all over ever since. They started out by knocking on doors in the income area of their city leading people to Christ and inviting people to their church.
As Evangelists they went forward into the world reaching the lost and leading them to Christ. They did that not only by preaching in churches, but in missions, prisons, jails, and out on the streets to drug dealers and gang members alike.
They understood that people are far away from the Lord, and for many different reasons, but they all need the same thing. They need the love of God, to have the truth presented to them, and to be encouraged and challenged to receive it. That has been a big part of their ministry as is evident when you hear them.
As Evangelists God called and equipt them to speak and travel to a world in need of Him, so whether to large groups, or to one individual at a time, the message is always the same. God loves them, has their good in mind, and wants to receive them as His own. He is there for them, and if they will come to Him with a heart of faith and receive Him as their savior and Lord, He will receive them gladly and take care of them now and forever more.
They have also been preaching and teaching God's people, calling and challenging them to a closer walk with Him. God's people need help and encouragement too, and they also need to be equipt for service so that they can do the ministry work that God has for them.
The past 28 years have been wonderful, and filled with so much, as life has plenty for all of us if we will embrace it. But there have been many lessons to be learned as well, and we have learned them. You don't travel in ministry for that many years without learning many things, and so it is also their job to share with the body of Christ many of those lessons. Through His word and their life experiences, God's people are not only equipt, but are warned of the ways of mankind, and the many snares of the devil.
You will find many things as you go through our website such as sermons, teachings, cassettes and Cds, but we are also here to do what we do everywhere. God calls us to be His hands extended to you, to proclaim His word, to show you His love, and to be used by Him to bring forth His will.
