God's word tells us that we must put on the armor of God.
In other words, we must in wear God's armor to keep us from trouble. Let's take a look at this.

GOT YOUR ARMOR ON TODAY ?
There are many kinds of protective coverings people wear for all kinds of things.
Astronauts wear their suits, baseball players theirs, hockey players, those who ski and snow boarders too.
Even riding bike has smart equiptment to keep us safe. But what kind of equiptment does God tell us to put on?
Each of these suits has a clue can you tell?
God's word tells us to put on His armor, listen
Ephesians 6:10 says " Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. "
In other words though the devil can't hurt you in some ways, he can tempt you and try to get you into trouble and bother your life. So, God says to protect yourself and be a good soldier of His.
Verse 13 says, " Put on the full armor of God so when the evil day comes, (or when that time comes when the devil tries to get you into trouble or tempt you to sin and do wrong), you may be able to stand your ground. "
Verse 14, Stand firm then:
1. With the Belt of Truth buckled around your waist.
2. With the Breastplate of Righteousness in place
3. With your feet fitted with the Gospel of Peace
4. Also take up the Sheild of Faith
5. Put on the Helmet of Salvation
6. And take the Sword of the Spitit
In other words it would be something like this;
We have to keep ourselves held together with truth, like we keep our clothers locked in place and tight around us, truth will keep us all together.
The Breastplate of Righteousness is a covering over our heart that keeps us doing what is right.
Then there is our feet, with the shoes of the Gospel of Peace going around helping people to know Jesus and to live right. Living a life of peace wherever we go.
Then taking up the Sheild of Faith, letting our faith in God be like a sheild in front of us and all around us so that no matter what, we know God is with us and we are strong, and also that the sheild of faith will block the arrows that the devil shoots at us.
Arrows like doubt and fear, worry and shame, all of the arrows and ways that he bothers us with.
Then we need to take the Helmet of Salvation, which means that we need to cover our mind knowing that if we have received Jesus as our savior that we are saved.
And no matter what our mind tells us, no matter what our ears hear, no matter what our eyes see, we know that we are saved because Jesus saved us, not because of how we feel, or what others say, or even that we understand everything, but because Jesus says it is true.
It is by faith we are saved, Jesus said it is so!
Then take the Sword of the Spirit which he says is the Word of God and you can always fight and do battle with God's word because it is true.
It's the only weapon God gives us to fight with.
Do you notice all the other things are for the protection of ourselves except the Word of God. His word will fight for us and hurt our enemies.
But it will also help people who need to hear it and will be a healing for them.
Jesus said it is a two edged sword. The devil doesn't like ether side, both hurt him and make him powerless before you.

And last of all He say's to pray! Pray to Him about everything.
Pray about what you need, what you would like, what you think is important to others, for your parents, or family or freinds.
Jesus is always listening and He wants to take care of you so remember to pray, He will awnser.
And if it seems like He's not bringing the awnser it may be because people are in His way and it takes a little time for Him to change peoples hearts, so be patient.
